mandurah
the vibrant city less than an hour from perth
Perched on the coast overlooking the magnificent Indian Ocean, Mandurah is where the locals come to holiday. Canals make up many of the city streets, while opportunities for water activities abound: fishing, swimming, crabbing, surfing, scuba diving, white water rafting, canoeing and jet skiing. Tour boat operators can take you around the canals and waterways or on a dolphin cruise, or hit the beach, with options suited to families and children.
Enjoy the art galleries, museums and shops in the Boardwalk precinct, admire the beautifully preserved buildings around the city or stroll along the heritage art walk on the eastern foreshore of the estuary, a series of statues and mosaics that depict people, events and activities from the area's Indigenous and settler history.
