nightlife
what goes on when the sun goes down
Whatever your scene, you'll find nightclubs and bars somewhere in Perth with the sort of people you'd love to hang out with. If you're looking for vibrant nightlife you needn't look further than the the West End in the heart of the city. Centred on fashionable King Street, this is the place for a happening Friday night. The city is also the place to head for live performances; many are held at the magnificent Edwardian His Majesty's Theatre, and the Perth Concert Hall.
Northbridge is located just over the Horseshoe Bridge (MAP) north of the Perth train station. This is Perth's entertainment centre, with pubs, clubs, cafes and restaurants. The theatre culture is strong in Northbridge, home to the Perth Cultural Precinct and the new State Theatre Centre, which features the Heath Ledger Theatre. Outdoor events are also incredibly popular in Northbridge and around the city during the warmer months, as Perth enjoys balmy, warm evenings.
