Perth city

attractions + activities

The outdoor lifestyle in Perth is one of the best reasons for living here. As a visitor, enjoying one or more of Perth’s parks, gardens and national parks should be at the top of your ‘must-do’ list, with opportunities to see Australian wildlife and wildflowers, do some bushwalking, or just relax and have a picnic. Enjoy our beautiful clean air, learn something about our Indigenous and European heritage and marvel at the Bell Tower, one of the world’s largest musical instruments.

Adventure seekers are spoilt for choice with river cruises, parasailing, jet boating, surfing lessons, whale watching cruises and swimming with wild dolphins. Of course, we think we have the best beaches in Australia but you should check them out for yourself. Whether you plan to surf, swim, fish, sunbathe or just enjoy a spectacular sunset over the water with fish and chips for dinner, the Indian Ocean is a ‘must see’. Take in a show, a festival, an outdoor concert or sporting event at one of our world-class venues. Watch a movie from the comfort of a deckchair on the rooftop of a city building. Visit a winery in the Swan Valley, a brewery in Fremantle or check out Perth’s growing small bar scene.

Beautiful, cosmopolitan, multi-cultural. Click on the links below to discover that there truly is something for everyone...
