The City of Perth has hundreds of specialty shops to interest visitors to Perth, featuring fashion, electronics, souvenirs, food, books and much more. Arcades, such as Carillon City, Piccadilly, Plaza and Trinity, each have their own character. Major department stores stock a wide variety of goods.

King Street, in the west end of Perth, is the address of fashionable boutiques, restaurants, and specialty stores known for originality, exclusivity and style. Browse for souvenirs at Indigenous and contemporary art galleries and enjoy the unique atmosphere.

Shops in Perth city and the inner city area are open 7 days a week; from 9.00am until at least 5.00pm Monday to Saturday and 11.00am – 5.00pm Sundays. Some shops are open until 9.00pm every weeknight and most open for late night trading on Fridays until 9.00pm.
