The heritage-listed terminal building was constructed to cater for the large number of passenger ships bringing migrants to Australia. The passenger terminal is easily reached from the Fremantley railway station; it is about a 250 metre walk. Long-term parking is not available outside the passenger terminal, but you may park in one of the carparks in the City of Fremantle.
